Is Mitch Marner really the problem?

 

     Well here we go again pointing the finger, a classic Leaf fan move to do.  I believe tradeing Marner is the wrong path to take.  If I had to pick out one of the core 4 players to leave, I would trade John Tavarez.  Round 1 against the bruins didnt work out to our favor for a few reasons.  Marner came back from a ankle sprang, Matthews was out sick, Nylander was out game 1 with a injury.  Our scoreing power was in shambles.  Marner didn't look like Marner when he came back because of his injury.  I dont blame the guy for that.  Highest level of hockey you gotta be fast, stoping and takeing off on your skates on a dime.  You can't do that with a injury like Marners.  So why is he getting shafted by media?  In all these years of Leaf hockey the guy has proven to be one of the best Leafs to ever play in history.  So why would you wanna give him away?   Will Mattews be scoreing about 60s to 70 goals if Marner is off the team?  Im loveing the moves we have bad so far.  I feel we are gonna be better on Defense and our goaltending should be finally solid !   

     Anyways, I dont wanna ramble to much other then Marner should stay.  Im tired of reading bad articles on the guy.  The guy is a amazing hockey player and loseing him would make us not as good offensivley.  Looking forward to another Leafs season.  GO LEAFS GO !
